The third day of my life in Perth was not much activities involved. Due to the reason of friends’ absence and uncertain bus schedule, I opted to stay in the temporary settlement the whole day. To kill boredom, I started to discover every single corner of the house.
The plants in the yard make me think of my home. If anyone stopped by my home in Malaysia before, you will certainly notice the same plant was planted surrounding my home. However, the reason I took this picture is to show something that amazed me, the plants in this house is automatically watered by mist system every evening around 7pm.

At the backyard, there is a door lead to sort of storage. Imagination kicks in, it looks like monsters or ghost will jump out. Ah, too much of haunted movies.

The living room stands a display cupboard made from wood. As you can see from the picture, the housemistress collects wine and liquor bottle. I wonder how much they spend on alcohols during their days in Perth.

Another interesting spot in the living room is there are flower bunches lying around. Honestly, I didn’t bother to look at all the deliver cards but is this signify that the house mistress is kind of Ms. Popular?

This picture shows the shoes collection of housemistress and her brother. Half of them are Nikes.

My family back at homeland always think that I’m short of proper food. The housemistress actually left us a lot of supplies. As shown in the picture, the cooking sauces are plenty. The supply of food in both the cupboard and fridge are abundant.

There are also a few delivery menus left by the house mistress; pizzas, fish and chips, cakes and even Indian and Chinese cuisine. The roast duck attracts me very much. I must try it in one fine day.

There are 2 strange bottles above the fridge that contain blue and green liquid respectively. And the writings on the paper read ‘DANGER SANTISE’. This is kind of strange.

The wall of kitchen hung a drawing. It’s a girl blowing bubbles and it’s abstract. Simple but lovely art piece.

I figured out that the property agents here are superb in their business relations with clients and prospect. They even produce loads of materials. For instance, the fridge door if fill with magnetic calendars and pads showing their smiling faces and contacts.

My dinner tonight includes 2 cheeseburgers and a bowl of Coke. The cow is not in the meal. It’s just my companion during this few bored-to-death days. I believe everyone will do the same is you are alone in foreign lands. Look at Tom Hanks in Cast Away, you will understand my feelings. I have got stronger and stronger feelings that am I too brave to come here alone?

Tomorrow will feature first batch of friends arrive in Perth. Hopefully, my boredom will end.
