Day 6 (20th February 2008)

Moving onto day 6, I’m beginning to retrieve my full level of confidence as I had in Malaysia. I could move around the area without sense of fear or helpless. I began to concentrate of the detailed part of life and surrounding.

As planned, I walked to campus in the morning with few things in mind, to apply for a student I.D. and to get my bank account open. The student I.D. was done. However, the bank asistance told me that they need my enrolment advice or procedure after 1 hour of waiting!

I admit that I’m not a sharp-eyed person but with luck around me, I come across something that amazed me. Before that, a little briefing of what my father’s business is. My father is an owner for a manufacturer company that produce cable and rod display system. I’m not going to include advertising here but if you’re interested you can log to www.vestadisplay.com. Back to business. I actually came across products that similar with his. It was at the Hayman Theatre where the performing art students based in. The biggest difference is their products installed without using tensioner, which cause the cable not straightened up. I recorded them down using pictures.

I started to have a silly interest, which is to look at sky. I’m not sure why, but Perth, being a desert, the sky got my attention. Most of the times, there are no cloud. Today is a little different, the sky is covered with clouds.

The cars that I spotted in the afternoon are a white standard Holden and a sporty silver Legacy GT. Both of them were parked at the campus carpark.

My desire for chicken rice drove me to have my lunch at the neighbourhood lunch bar again. The lady boss left her worker alone in the shop so I took the chance to snap pictures. As shown in the pictures, the shop also sells stationary, newspapers and magazines, Indonesian food products and even batik cloths. I had the same chicken rice, a stick of nugget and mixed fruit juice.

On the way back, I spotted a Skyline without the usual fierce-looking kits. I’m not sure what variant is that but I believe it was the one fitted with RB20. The yellow car is a Citroen C2, which I felt quite suitable for a young lady.

I bought frozen pasta from neighbourhood store and a bottle of Listerine after I had done my lunch. The pasta was intended to cook as dinner. It looked great and taste good.

I took my walk as usual after dinner. I decided to walk up the small hills beside my house today and found a playground there. My silly interest hit me again but this time the sky was indeed beautiful. It’s speechless; better let the picture do the description.

I met Romeo when I walked back. We had little chat at the junction before we both entered our house. I finally able to met Romeo’s house owner, who drives a Porsche Targa. He came back in another white modded Toyota with another 2 young ladies. We greeted each other for the first time. Not forgot to mention, the 2 ladies were stunning.

Tomorrow, day 7, marked the 15th day of Chinese New Year. It is an important day for Chinese but sadly I wouldn’t be able to celebrate with my family. The night is going to be a very long night for me.
